Dr. Paul Blanc: “How Everyday Products Make People Sick”

Dr. Paul Blanc has recently published an updated edition of his groundbreaking work “How Everyday Products Make People Sick,” which was first published in 2007. The book explores the social, political and scientific factors that were the impetus for the manufacturing of many household products that many of you may use on a daily basis.

In this podcast, Dr. Blanc talks about how the use of products such as chlorine, urethane (paint, sealant, etc) and glue may have a profound and negative impact on your health--whether it be in the home or workplace.

Dr. Blanc is currently Professor of Medicine and Chief of the Division of Occupational and Environmental Medicine at the University California San Francisco and a former board member of Breathe California.
